Clarendon Scholarships for Graduate Study at the University of Oxford – Al-Fanar Media

Applications are now open for the prestigious Clarendon Scholarships at the University of Oxford. These fully funded awards give outstanding students from around the world—including all Arab countries—the chance to pursue master’s or D.Phil. (doctoral) study at one of the world’s top universities.
Each year, over 200 Clarendon Scholarships are awarded. They cover full tuition fees and provide a generous stipend for living costs, making them one of Oxford’s most competitive and sought-after funding opportunities. Full-time scholars receive enough support to cover all living expenses, while part-time scholars receive proportionate assistance.
Clarendon Scholars join a vibrant, international community with access to Oxford’s world-class resources, facilities, and networks. The programme values academic excellence, research potential, and leadership, helping scholars thrive and contribute meaningfully to their fields.
All academic disciplines are eligible, and there are no restrictions on nationality. Anyone applying for a full-time or part-time master’s or D.Phil. at Oxford by the course deadline (December 2025 or January 2026) will be automatically considered—no separate scholarship application is required.
Funding typically lasts one to two years for a master’s degree and three to four years for a D.Phil.
“The Clarendon Scholarships open doors to Oxford for the brightest minds worldwide,” said a University spokesperson. “They provide not only full financial support but also a community committed to excellence and impact.”
Interested students should review the Application Guide and apply for their chosen course by the relevant deadline.
Deadline: Various dates in December 2025 or January 2026, depending on the programme.
