The future is bright for the Class of 2024.
The Winona Senior High School academic Achievement Recognition Program was held Wednesday in the WSHS Auditorium. More than $640,000 in scholarship money was awarded, including several scholarships awarded personally by those who select the winners and oversee the funds.
“These seniors definitely left a mark on our school,” WSHS principal Luke Madsen said. “They will be missed. We can’t wait to see what they do next.”
The program also recognized the 65 graduating seniors who will leave with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better and the eight students who comprise the AVID Class of 2024.
