Mark your calendars for an opportunity to make a difference in South Lake County! Groveland and Mascotte will host a Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, January 25, from 9 am to 12 pm. The event will take place at two convenient locations:
This community-driven initiative invites volunteers to help clean up the area, making it a cleaner, safer, and more beautiful place to live.
Volunteer Information
Volunteers are essential to the success of this event. Whether you’re an individual, family, or part of a community group, your participation will have a positive impact.
Additional Services
In addition to the litter pickup, attendees can take advantage of several free services:
Bulk Drop-Off and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Unit
Bring your unwanted bulky items and household hazardous waste to the designated drop-off locations. These services are free for Lake County residents and provide a convenient way to tidy up your home and yard.
The HHW Mobile Unit will accept items such as:
Tire Amnesty Event
Dispose of your old tires responsibly to reduce mosquito breeding grounds and improve the community’s appearance. Residents can drop off up to 24 non-commercial tires (less than 40 inches) per household free of charge. Rims must be removed prior to drop-off.
Tires can also be dropped off at:
Make a Difference
This is your chance to give back to your community and enjoy a rewarding morning with friends and neighbors. Together, we can create a cleaner and greener Groveland and Mascotte.
