CMU Tech’s culinary arts, viticulture and sustainable agriculture programs are proud to present a Holiday Harvest for the community on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. This unique event offers an opportunity to experience local culinary and agricultural talent as well as emerging winemakers, showcasing the synergy between the programs.
Attendees will be treated to a specially curated menu featuring an array of appetizers, pastries and chocolate confections crafted by culinary arts students. Dishes include fettuccine with garden pesto, sushi, spanikopita, hand-dipped chocolates and much more. The event will highlight locally grown produce from the campus gardens, expertly paired with wines made by students studying viticulture and enology. A selection of craft beers and wines from the Grand Valley will also be available.
Tickets are $60 per person, with all proceeds going toward scholarships that benefit students across these three programs, helping support the next generation of culinary, agricultural and viticulture professionals.
The event will be held at the CMU Tech Bishop Campus, in the Chez Lena Dining Room and Culinary Labs at 2512 Blichmann Ave., Building B.
