The Washington Apple Education Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to more than 300 students heading to college this fall, most of whom are from families in the tree fruit industry. More than 70% are the first in their families to attend college.
“These students demonstrate remarkable potential, bringing strong academic records, leadership experiences and determination to succeed,” said Nate Fulton, chairman of the 2025 scholarship committee.
