Johnson County student awarded OSU scholarship
Megan Murray of Trafalgar was honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarship support for the 2025-2026 academic year.
These scholarships are part of the more than $1.8 million that students receive from the Ferguson College and its academic departments. Students from all areas of study are considered for college scholarships, which can be combined with departmental and university awards.
Franklin College welcomes members to Honor Society
Franklin College’s Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society inducted new members into its Circle. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national organization that honors collegiate leadership and renowned character. Omicron Delta Kappa provides members with access to scholarships, professional development and networking opportunities.
Franklin College’s Circle recognizes students for their leadership in academics and research, athletics, community and campus service, communications and creative and performing arts. The students selected are statistically in the top 35% of their classes and entrenched leaders of the campus community.
Local newly initiated members include:
Ailyn Hendricks of Franklin; Nic Whitecotten of Greenwood; Lizzie Sekhon of Indianapolis; Mackenzie Byrd of Indianapolis; Arianna Hunt of Morgantown; Camden Carlile of Trafalgar; Spencer Fears of Trafalgar.
