The Columbia County Fair and Livestock Show is making plans for the 2025 fair, which will be September 15-20.
Today, April 18, 2025 is the deadline to apply for a scholarship that will be presented by the Fair Association. The scholarship is valued at $750 a semester for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Recipients must be residents of Columbia County, submit a transcript, and a letter of good standing. Selection criteria includes participation in the Columbia County Fair, grade-point average, community involvement and leadership activities, a personal narrative, and an explanation of how the scholarship will benefit the applicant.

Junior Fair Board Ambassador Program applications are available through Sunday, April 20.
The program is an opportunity for young leaders to gain hands on experience in the county fair. They will develop leadership skills, and make a real impact in the inner workings of our fair.
If you’re a motivated student age 14-18 looking to grow, serve and connect with the community this program is for you. Applications are now open- don’t miss out, follow the link below to apply! Applications are due by April 20, 2025. Requirements can be found on the application. We will be choosing 10 lucky youth to serve on the 2025-2026 Junior Fair Board.
