The County Commissioners Association Research and Educational Foundation (CCAO Research and Educational Foundation) is proud to announce the release of the 2025 Ohio Counties Scholarship.
This esteemed scholarship is designed to support students across the state who aspire to careers in public service in Ohio.
Each year, one scholarship is awarded in each of the five CCAO Districts:
The award amount is $2,000 and is payable upon confirmation of the recipient’s enrollment at a university, community college, training program, or vocational school.
“Last year, the foundation had over 100 applicants from 59 of Ohio’s 88 counties,” said CCAO Executive Director Cheryl Subler. “This scholarship invests in one of Ohio’s most important assets – our youth.”
Eligible students are encouraged to apply for this valuable opportunity.
Since the inception of the Ohio Counties Scholarship, $20,000 has been awarded to high school students throughout the state, reinforcing a commitment to developing the next generation of leaders in public service.
