The Department of Health and Community Services is inviting applications for the annual Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Fund Program.
The annual Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion (CAPMHP) Grant Funding Program provides financial support to individuals, community groups, Indigenous schools and non-profit organizations interested in increasing awareness and understanding of mental health, substance use and addictions in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This funding initiative is administered in partnership with NL Health Services with the goal of achieving actions outlined in the five-year Provincial Alcohol Action Plan and The Path to Resilience – An Action Plan to Promote Life and Prevent Suicide, specifically related to reducing harms and costs associated with alcohol, promoting life and preventing suicide.
