The Kiwanis Club of Paris recently gave out almost $19,000 worth of scholarships to local Key Club members. To receive a scholarship the students must be a member of a Key Club for at least two years, have at grade point average of at least a 3.2 and have at least 40 hours of community service in high school. These are the 10 candidates for the 2025 Paris Regional Health Red River Valley Male Athlete of the Year award, which is based on performance from the past athletic year. There are representives from Paris, North Lamar, Chisum, Trinity Christian Academy, Prairiland, Honey Grove, Cooper, Clarksville, Rivercrest and Detroit High Schools.
