Trinity Anderson receives her Concerned Citizens of Kershaw County 2025 MLK Scholarship Award.
The Concerned Citizens of Kershaw County is pleased to announce that its recently established MLK Scholarship Awards Committee has completed its review of applications for that award and two graduating seniors have been selected as the 2025 recipients. The awards committee, composed of educators and professionals, reviewed each application and based their evaluations on academic excellence, community service, and leadership potential and involvement. These were also characteristics evidenced in the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for whom the award is named.
The committee selected Trinity Anderson and Joseph Harvley as the two deserving students for the scholarships. Their commitment to achieving academic excellence, leadership skills, community service, and potential to make a significant contribution to their community and society provided the Committee the support needed to qualify them as the outstanding recipients. The scholarship is made possible through the generous support of individuals and businesses in the greater Camden area and will provide financial assistance to help cover the costs of tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses of the recipients.
