Conyers hands out $60,000 in legal scholarships – The Royal Gazette
Seven local law students have received a total of $60,000 in educational funds from Conyers this year.
Tiara Simons was awarded the 2025 Conyers Legal Scholarship, which provides $30,000 for each year of legal study. Tiara is pursuing a senior status LLB at Queen Mary University of London.
Conyers said Tiara showed exceptional academic performance and a strong commitment to the legal profession.
The remaining money was divided between law students Cree Dunn, Thomas Evans, Owen Neal, Lorenzo Durrant-Lucarini, Lara Simas and Emily Orchard.
“Conyers is proud to support these talented students as they take the next step in their legal education,” said Sophia Greaves, director and chair of the selection committee. “Each award reflects our belief in their potential and our commitment to the future of Bermuda’s legal community.”
The legal education awards are a key part of Conyers’ broader commitment to support academic and professional development of Bermuda’s future legal practitioners.
Since launching the scholarship programme in 1982, the firm has contributed over $4.1 million in legal education funding, including more than $1.5 million in the past decade.
