Residents of the Corry, Union City and Clymer school districts age 21 and older who will be attending college in 2024-25 can apply for a share of $5,845 in scholarship aid from the Corry Higher Education Council. Applicants can be attending college or technical school anywhere, including as part of the Erie County Community College and Northern Pennsylvania Regional College programs at the Corry Hi-Ed.
The Council will be accepting scholarship applications through Sunday, June 30. Applications can be submitted electronically at www.corryhied.org/scholarships. Applicants will be notified of scholarship awards in early to mid-August.
Four different scholarships, totaling $5,845, can be applied for using a single application. Each of the four scholarships has slightly different eligibility criteria, and applicants can apply for as many of them as they qualify for. One common requirement among the four scholarships is that applicants must be 21 or older by Sept. 1, 2024.
The four scholarship funds, dollar amount available for 2024-25, and total amount awarded to date from each, are:
