The Community Scholarship, Inc. of Claflin that began 66 years ago, awarded scholarships to 16 graduates and 11 alumni at the Central Plains High School graduation ceremony on May 11. Many donors, alumni, and organizations made it possible to award $80,700 to graduates and alumni to help with their schooling expenses.
