The Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union recently announced their scholarship winners for the 2024-25 school year. The winners are:
— Luca Gullo, $1,500, Fredonia High School.
— Andrew Cowan, $1,250, Fredonia High School.
— Aleah Dloniak-Kucmierz, $1,250, Dunkirk High School.
— Bennett Pomroy, $1,000, Silver Creek Central School.
— Lincoln Smith, $750, Chautauqua Lake Central School.
— Leah Marsh, $750, Fredonia High School.
— Brady Phelps, $500, Sherman Central School.
— Claire Price, $500, Maple Grove Central School.
Inner Lakes awards scholarships to area seniors who are pursuing a college education. Applicants are judged by the New York Credit Union Association out of Albany on criteria such as grades, test scores, essay writing, extracurricular activities and community involvement. “We are pleased to have a large number of young members in our credit union and are thrilled to assist them with these scholarships. We wish them success as they look to the future and would like to congratulate them on this achievement.”, said Carl Swan, Inner Lakes chief executive officer.
Inner Lakes FCU is headquartered in Westfield with branches in Westfield, Fredonia, Bemus Point, Dunkirk and Silver Creek.
