KINGSFORD — Seven graduates of the Norway-Vulcan Area School’s Class of 2024 have been awarded the Curtis J. Bracket Memorial Foundation Scholarships.
The scholarships were made possible as the result of Peter J. Bracket establishing a memorial foundation in 1980 to honor his son, Curtis J. Bracket.
To date, $190,000 has been granted to Norway Vulcan graduates who have met the scholarships’ criteria.
This year’s recipients, each received a $2,000 scholarship. They are —
— The Curtis J. Bracket Memorial Scholarship: Riley Jacklovitz and Ian Popp;
IAN POPP
— The Brackett Family Memorial Scholarship: Justin Hosking, Alex Ortman and Wyatt Spade;
— The Peter J. Brackett Memorial Scholarship: Kimberly Proctor and Elizabeth Romitti.
