BRIGHAM CITY – Emma Jaime Bush of Brigham City has been named one of three recipients of the 2025 D.L. Evans Foundation Scholarship, earning $1,100 to support her studies at Salt Lake Community College.
Bush, a graduating high school senior, was selected as part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to help students in Idaho and Northern Utah pursue higher education. The scholarship can be used at any accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States.
The D.L. Evans Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to students in the bank’s service area who demonstrate strong academic performance, community involvement, and a clear vision for their future career. This year’s other recipients are America Paz of Driggs, Idaho, who will attend Weber State University, and Isaias Vera of Caldwell, Idaho, who will attend the University of Idaho.
In addition, D.L. Evans Bank awarded 16 $2,000 scholarships through its separate scholarship program for students heading to schools across the country, including one recipient, Tregan Darrington of Burley, Idaho, who plans to attend Utah State University.
Since its inception, the D.L. Evans Scholarship Program has provided tens of thousands of dollars in support to the next generation of leaders, innovators, and skilled workers. The bank, founded in Idaho in 1904, operates branches across Southern Idaho and Northern Utah.
