The Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation awarded scholarships to meritorious and financially challenged students of Dhaka University faculty of business studies at Professor Dr Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall of the university on Saturday.
Business studies faculty dean Professor Mahmood Osman Imam and Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, president of the foundation and managing director of Salma Group handed over the scholarships to the recipient students, said a press release.
Among others, former president and managing director of Bank Asia Limited and vice-president of Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation Arfan Ali and faculty members of business studies faculty were present on the occasion.
