This year’s top fundraisers were dancers Michele Hagerty who raised $375,000 and George Petrocelli, director of catering at The Boca Raton, who set a new men’s record – $290,000.
To prepare for the competition, the dancers spent five months training with professionals from Fred Astaire Dance Studios. The theme was the British Invasion and the dancers paid tribute to musical icons from across the decade.
