In a recent presentation to the Dayton Rotary Club, Dayton High School Counselor Mrs. Sara Williams celebrated the achievements of several exceptional students who were unable to attend the Rotary scholarship luncheon due to their participation in the Business Professional of America (BPA) Nationals in Chicago.
Among them were Valedictorian David Coll Leon and Scholarship Winner Stacey Madrigal-Cardenas, who Williams shared had advanced to the Nationals along with 35 other DHS students.
Williams also introduced Class of 2024 Salutatorian Marisol Lugo Moran and Rotary Scholarship winners Bentley Mcllwain, Emma Franklin, and Jenna Davis. Those four outstanding seniors presented the program to the Rotary Club.
Speaking on behalf of the club, Rotarian Tami Pierce said, “We wish all of you the best in your future endeavors. We are very proud of you and the Class of 2024!”
