The Home Builders Association is proud to announce college scholarship opportunities to students in Kankakee and Iroquois counties and/or students that have attended Kankakee Area Career Center planning to attend college the fall of 2008. Funding for these scholarships comes from the gate at the annual Spring Home Improvement Show. Applicants must be enrolled in an educational program in construction or a construction-related field. Three scholarships will be awarded this year for $500. Applications can be obtained by contacting the HBAK office at P.O. Box 801, Kankakee, IL 60901; or downloading from the HBAK Web site at www.hbakankakee.com. The deadline for applications is May 9.
