BELLWOOD — Athletes from PIAA District 6 were recently announced as 2025 Dean Rossi Sportsmanship Scholarship and Award recipients.
The awards honor student-athletes who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship, character and integrity. Each year, District 6 high schools are invited to nominate one male and one female student-athlete who best represent the values of sportsmanship both on and off the field.
This year, each recipient will receive a medal and $225 scholarship, made possible through the support of the District 6 Committee.
The award is named in memory of Dean Rossi, a longtime advocate for student-athletes and sportsmanship in District 6 and throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
