student at Del Lago Academy, has been awarded The Gates Scholarship — a highly selective, full-ride scholarship that is
granted to only 300 exceptional high school seniors nationwide each year.
Daniel will be attending Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Thanks to The Gates Scholarship, all of his college
expenses not already covered by financial aid will be fully funded. This includes tuition, room and board, travel, books, and
personal items. Beyond financial support, the program also offers invaluable mentorship, leadership training, and career
development resources throughout his college journey. “This is a wonderful opportunity for Daniel,” said Principal Kristi
Kalish. “We are very proud of his hard work and determination.”
