CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Delta Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority awarded scholarships to three women this weekend, offering meaningful support as they begin their college journeys.
The scholarships are designed to help students overcome financial obstacles and stay focused on their education and long-term goals.
One recipient, Jade Johnson, shared her gratitude for the award.
“It means a lot, especially financially, because not a lot of money is given out,” Johnson said. “It’s very pick and choose, but I’m very glad I got this to expand my education and help me out.”
The chapter continues its commitment to community investment, helping to build a brighter future — one scholarship at a time.
