MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Eastern Panhandle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. will host its 15th annual Jazz Brunch and Silent Auction. The event is set for Saturday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 301 Foxcroft Ave., Martinsburg, according to an announcement.
The brunch will feature the Howard Burns Quartet, with silent auction items available for review starting at 10:30 a.m.
Tickets are priced at $40, and proceeds will support the chapter’s scholarship awards and local public service projects.
Ticket sales will close on Saturday, April 5, and all sponsorships and donations must be submitted by Tuesday, April 1, to be included in the souvenir program booklet.
During the event, EPAC will honor two female high school seniors with a $1,000 Scholarship Award. Additionally, two male and two female high school seniors will receive a $500 Book Scholarship Award. Several awards will also be presented to community members who have distinguished themselves through service to the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.
