The first prize winner of the 2025 Welding competition, Joseph Leopard of Brighton High School, was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to attend DTC. Additionally, he earned Brighton High School a $1,000 donation from DTC to support the welding department.
Second prize winner, Mark Allen-Myers of Desoto County Career Technology Center West, received a $2,500 scholarship. The third prize winner, Christopher Galindo of Millington High School, received a $1,000 scholarship to DTC. All participants received a $500 DTC scholarship.
