Two new scholarships were awarded to deserving local college students by the Coronado Democratic Club at their general meeting on June 25th. The two recipients, Krystal Role and Fartun Sufi, were awarded $1,000 each and are both Southwestern College students. Krystal will now attend UCSD Scripps for her bachelor’s degree.
