DENISON, Texas (KXII) – The Denison Yellow Jackets volleyball team was honored today by the Red River Officials Association for their sportsmanship.
The Jackets received the Dean French scholarship award, that is presented to a local volleyball team that demonstrates good sportsmanship. The honor considers sportsmanship from players, coaches and fans.
Denison Coach Dana Waddle and the Yellow Jackets received the award at the high school.
