Save the date for the Rotary Club of Palestine’s annual scholarship gala from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Palestine Senior Citizen Center. The theme is Dia de Los Muertos, the Mexican holiday that celebrates ancestors on Nov. 1.
Palestine Rotarian Jodi Davis said she got the idea for this year’s gala theme from a Dia de Los Muertos festival she attended with her husband, Mark, in Los Cabos, Mexico last year.
