SEYMOUR, Ind. —The team of Luke Warren, Daulton Anderson, Colin Woods, and Meghan Warren combined to shoot 55 and place first in the 44th annual Dr. “Bud” Golf Scramble at Shadowood Golf Course on Wednesday.
Eric Fish, MD, President/CEO of Schneck Medical Center, reported that 54 teams participated in the event to raise funds for the Dr. “Bud” Nursing Scholarship Fund. The scholarship program was established in honor of Dr. H.P. “Bud” Graessle.
Born in Seymour, Dr. Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years, retiring in 1971.
All proceeds from the golf scramble provide scholarships for nursing students in Jackson, Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties. The official amount raised has not yet been determined.
