BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Dr Pepper and LSU linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. partnered for an exciting NIL initiative. Over a 10-week period, Dr. Pepper highlighted standout high school defensive football players in a unique program designed to reward top performances on the field.
Each week, the high school defensive player with the most sacks was celebrated as a winner, receiving a football signed by Harold Perkins Jr., courtesy of Dr Pepper.

The program culminated in a $5,000 tuition scholarship, awarded to Braylan Wilson from Madison Prep High School in Baton Rouge who showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the season.

The initiative not only celebrated the talent of young athletes but also emphasized the importance of education, with Dr Pepper and Perkins inspiring the next generation to excel both on and off the field.
