Ellis is leaving Dublin High School with a litany of accomplishments and resume-builders.
Eliis serves as the school's student body president, captain of the Varsity tennis team, president of the Senior Beta Club, woodwind section leader in the Marching Band, an active member of the Math Team and was voted as the school's 2024 Homecoming King. He also received the University of Georgia Certificate of Merit for being in the top 10% of his class.
Off-campus, Ellis was recognized at the 2025 Dublin-Laurens County Black History Festival Youth of the Year, sat on the Morris Bank Youth Advisory Council and worked as a shift leader at Scoops Ice Cream.
Despite his achievements, Ellis said he'll remember high school like family.
After choosing from many options Ellis decided to venture forth toward his dream school of the University of Georgia where he'll study biology on the Pre-Med route.

Congratulations, Tristen!
