As part of a 90th-anniversary donation pledge, E. S. Fox is pleased to announce it has selected Women in Nuclear Canada (WiN) as the recipient of its latest charitable donation.
On April 23, 2024, President, Spencer Fox, presented a cheque of $90,000 to Lisa McBride, President of Women in Nuclear Canada. Paired with ongoing scholarship sponsorships, these funds will provide vital support to women working within the nuclear industry, with a particular focus on energy and radiation applications.
Established in 2004, Women in Nuclear Canada operates to support the objectives of WiN Global by emphasizing and supporting the role that women can and do have in addressing public concerns about nuclear energy and the application of radiation and nuclear technology. Through initiatives such as mentoring, networking, and personal development programs, WiN Canada fosters an environment conducive to women’s success within the industry.
