The Edwards County Farm Bureau Foundation recently announced their 2025 Vocational & Trades Scholarship winners. This year $6,000 was awarded in scholarship funds to four individuals.
Jaden Schwarzlose is studying auto mechanics at Olney Central College. He is the son of David and Pam Schwarzlose of West Salem.
JW Simms-Reiser plans to study diesel mechanics and welding at Lakeland College. He is the son of Amanda Simms of Ellery.
Gabe Wyatt plans to be an electrician and will be taking classes at Lakeland College. He is the son of Jeremy and Michelle Wyatt of West Salem.
Konner Case is completing the John Deere Technician program at Vincennes University. He is the son of Karl August and Melody Case of West Salem.
This is the fourth year the Foundation has offered a Vocational & Trades Scholarship. Including this year, the Foundation has given out $12,500 in vocational & trades scholarships to Edwards County residents. The purpose of this scholarship is to support Edwards County residents earning a certificate or degree in a vocational or trades field that will benefit agriculture.
