ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood High School seniors who applied for scholarships, were awarded over $47,000 collectively and recognized during the 2024-25 Egghead Honors Banquet on April 29 at Ellinwood High School. The event, celebrating student academic clubs, organizations, and student excellence was hosted by the KAY student organization and Ellinwood High School.
Awards to EHS Senior applicants:
Alan Fullbright Memorial Scholarship– Mahra Johnston, Keighyn Dombroski – $750; American Legion Post 320– Mathew Menges, Brayden Robl – $500; American Red Cross– Nevaeh Bowman, Heidi Brauer, Gracyn Dombroski, Keighyn Dombroski, Nathan Hammeke, Mahra Johnston – $250; Burgardt Family Scholarship–Dallon Luker – $5,000; First Christian Church Scholarship (Great Bend)- Mahra Johnston $650; Crime Stoppers of Barton County–Keighyn Dombroski – $500.
