Registration is open for the new academic mobility notice Emerging Leaders in The Americas Program (ELAP). The program offers students the opportunity to study for a semester of their undergraduate degree at a Canadian university, with the possibility of obtaining a scholarship.
In this notice There are vacancies at four universities in Canada: Kings University College, University of Montreal, University of Regina e Dalhousie University. Interested parties must submit their documentation by next Monday, at 14 pm on March 1st.
The pre-selection of candidates for the vacancies offered in this notice, as well as the acceptance by the Canadian institution, do not guarantee the obtaining of the ELAP scholarship. The current notice consists of a pre-selection for subsequent registration. The ELAP program will be responsible for the decision on the distribution of scholarships.
ELAP offers scholarships that cover one academic semester for students interested in studying in Canada. While in Canada, scholarship recipients must remain affiliated with PUCRS. The value of the scholarship is $7.200 Canadian dollars. These scholarships will be administered by the host Canadian institutions and are intended to cover expenses for air travel, visa to Canada, health insurance, books, equipment and living expenses.
Given the uncertainties and circumstances generated by the Covid-19 pandemic regarding the activities and academic calendars of partner universities abroad, the number of vacancies, deadlines and application guidelines are subject to change without prior notice.
