Kirkwood High School senior John Vonder Bruegge is one of just 10 students from the United States to be awarded a $30,500 Wallace Scholarship to attend Wichita State University.
Vonder Bruegge, who will pursue mechanical engineering, received the scholarship from Wichita State University’s College of Engineering Dean Anthony Muscat in early March.
