JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Students and faculty at ETSU have some high hopes for prestigious awards.
Two students are finalists for the Harry S. Truman scholarship. To be selected, they had to demonstrate leadership skills and be involved in public service work, for a chance at $30,000.
5 faculty members are semi finalists for the Fulbright scholarship. The program partners with more than 140 countries to offer academic opportunities abroad.
