A local Miss Missouri’s Teen candidate won a scholarship during the competition.
Miss Lewis and Clark’s Teen, Anastasia Jones, is the daughter of Kevin and Clarissa Stokes and Paul Jones. She attends middle school in Eugene.
Jones received a $750 scholarship for her top-12 finish and people’s choice award in the 19th Miss Missouri’s Teen competition, the official preliminary to Miss America’s Teen to be held this month.
Jones has been focused on her service initiative “Read to Succeed: Making Literacy Accessible.” She has partnered with Little Free Libraries to promote literacy through reading and book drives.
