Two $1,000 scholarships were recently awarded at the Evergreen Garden Club’s annual picnic. Siblings Elizabeth Bruner and John Bruner were the recipients. John will be attending Penn State Dubois in the fall and plans to major in wildlife technology. Elizabeth, who majored in wildlife and fisheries, attends Penn State. She plans to become a forestry consultant.
