CLOQUET — This year’s Food for Thought fundraiser on Jan. 16 raised over $19,000 for Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College student scholarships.
The FDLTCC Foundation fundraiser included a dozen local food and beverage vendors serving up tasty samples. Seven Fires Steakhouse at the Black Bear Casino Resort took home the golden spoon award for best entree and Sweat Treats by Aurora took home the silver spoon award for best dessert.

Proceeds from admission tickets and raffles will help the foundation continue its scholarship program, which aims to “encourage the enrollment of students who will add to the overall excellence of academic and co-curricular programs,” according to its website.
