PORTSMOUTH — FedPoint, a benefits marketplace operator and third-party administrator, announced the recipients of the 2025 FedPoint Nursing Scholarship. The four recipients, chosen from a field of nearly 120 applicants, are all graduating high school students who will enter an accredited nursing program this fall. Each recipient was awarded $5,000.
The 2025 FedPoint Nursing Scholarship recipients are:
Annabelle Holmes, Hampton, New Hampshire (Winnacunnet High School)
Breanne Robertson, Newport, New Hampshire (Newport Middle High School)
Eliza Doyon, Biddeford, Maine (Biddeford High School)
Taylor Coulombe, Wallagrass, Maine (Fort Kent Community High School)
“Congratulations to these future nurses! I am proud of these exceptional students for their hard work and commitment to helping others,” said New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte. “I wish them all the best as they go to college, and I hope to welcome them back to New Hampshire when they begin their careers. Thank you to FedPoint for helping foster the next generation of nurses in our state.”
The recipients stood out to the selection committee for their work ethic, academic rigor, desire to help others and commitment to the field of nursing. The selection committee was comprised of nurses in FedPoint’s care coordination team and staff members from partner organization Cornerstone VNA.
Coulombe, who grew up in the northern Maine town of Wallagrass, expressed a passion for serving rural and underserved communities, where access to healthcare is challenging.
“Whether in a hospital, a community clinic, or a home health setting, I aspire to be an advocate for my patients, ensuring they feel heard, respected and cared for,” Coulombe said in her application essay.
Some of the recipients have already taken steps to gain valuable experience and begin their nursing career. Doyon has taken several medical courses and is on track to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) before she graduates high school, allowing her to gain more patient care experience this summer. Robertson recently completed her Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license and has begun working as an emergency department technician at Valley Regional Hospital, and Holmes recently interned at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit for four months.
“FedPoint is proud to recognize Annabelle, Breanne, Eliza, and Taylor for their dedication to nursing and support their drive to make a difference,” said Brian Frankenfield, Executive Sponsor of Corporate Giving at FedPoint. “We recognize that a strong healthcare system depends on the next generation of skilled, compassionate professionals. These four remarkable students give us every reason to feel hopeful about the future of nursing.”
Each year, the FedPoint Nursing Scholarship awards four $5,000 scholarships during National Nurses Week, which occurs May 6-12.
