WILLIAMSPORT – A new round of scholarship opportunities is now open for students in 10 area counties. The First Community Foundation Partnership is offering more than 90 scholarships, ranging from $200 to $20,000, with over $400,000 available this year.
High school seniors and non-traditional students from Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Mifflin, Northumberland, Sullivan, Snyder, Tioga, and Union Counties can apply online through April 1.
Scholastic Initiatives Officer Marsha Lemons says the scholarships help students gain the education needed for their first jobs and future careers. A new online portal is available to guide applicants through the process. More info at www.fcfpartnership.org.
