STEVENS POINT – First State Bank is continuing its scholarship program, offering ten $1,000 awards to local high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education.
The program, which has been in place for more than two decades, is open to students attending high schools in communities where the bank has a branch or to those whose parents are First State Bank customers as of Dec. 31, 2024. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or technical school immediately after graduation.
“At First State Bank, we believe in investing in the future of our community,” said Gretchen Steinbecker, vice president of marketing. “Our scholarship program is one way we can help empower local high school students to pursue their dreams and create a brighter future.”
Applications are available online at bankfirststate.com/scholarships and must be submitted by Monday, March 31.
