PLATTE CITY, Mo. — Twenty EMS professionals have been awarded Fitch EMS Foundation scholarships, selected from a record-breaking 313 applications submitted by 139 individuals, highlighting the increasing demand for leadership development in EMS.
The scholarships cover various categories, including leadership mentoring, EMS-specific education, degree completion and membership fee waivers, according to the foundation.
The 2025 scholarship recipients are:
Wagner and Delaney will begin their mentorship at the Pinnacle EMS Leadership Forum in Phoenix.
“The application responses this year were deeply insightful, naming some of the most urgent challenges in our field while also offering bold, innovative ideas to meet them. This is exactly the kind of thinking the Foundation seeks to amplify,” Executive Director Hannah Fitch, M.Div. said. “We are truly honored to support these individuals as they continue their leadership journey and we look forward to celebrating their accomplishments and successes over the next year.”
The Foundation awarded scholarships for the fourth year with support from partners and donors. Applications reopen in early 2026 at fitchemsfoundation.org.
