MOREHEAD CITY — Five students have been awarded scholarships through the Carteret-Craven Electric Foundation for their college studies beginning this fall:
Sophia Uhlmann – West Carteret High School, planning to attend Brown University.
Calvin Jackson – East Carteret High School, planning to attend UNC-Chapel Hill.
Emma Garcy – Croatan High School, planning to attend the University of Virginia.
Lilly Alvir – Gramercy Christian School, planning to attend NC State University.
Abby Cruz – Havelock High School, planning to attend UNC-Wilmington.
