5 Northwest students receive scholarships
The Northwest High School Alumni Committee recently presented its Educational Scholarship winners. The Alumni committee gave a total of $3,000 in scholarships to these five students on May 24 during their Awards Day. Pictured are Committee Scholarship Chairwoman A. Faye Young, left, Azariyah Hunter, Mary Kearney, Randy Stingel, Taniya High and Ja’Kyla Hedgepeth. The committee is appreciative to be able to continue to make the positive impacts on its Alma Mater. With continued donations, the alumni committee has been awarding these scholarships since 2015.
