The Edwards County Farm Bureau Young Leader Committee is proud to announce the winners of their 2025 scholarships. Congratulations to Cali Bunting, Aly Williams, JW Simms-Reisner, Gabe Wyatt, and Jaron Weaver. The Young Leaders awarded $3,300 to these five individuals.
The Young Leaders scholarship is presented each year to a person or persons who will be a freshmen or sophomore in college during the Fall semester and have been actively involved in 4-H and/or FFA during their entire high school career. They must have or will be graduating from Edwards County High School or have an Edwards County address for the past four years. The winning applicant was chosen based on their personal accomplishments, leadership skills, and a personal interview focusing on how 4-H and/or FFA have impacted their lives.
Cali is the daughter of Jeff & Valerie Bunting of rural Albion. Aly is the daughter of Cody & Derra Williams of rural West Salem. JW Simms-Reisner is the son of Amanda Simms of Ellery. Gabe is the son of Michelle & Jeremy Wyatt of rural West Salem. Jaron is the son of Carissa & Jarod Weaver of rural Albion
