WAUSAU, Wis. – Five Wausau high school students received scholarships from the Rotary Club of Wausau.
Each student received a $2,000 award.
Scholarship recipients were selected among 26 applicants and each demonstrated leadership by volunteering at school and in the community.
The donations came from the family of the late Thomas and Marilyn Kramer.
Thomas Kramer was a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Wausau. He and Marilyn left a long legacy.

The club has distributed approximately $185,000 to area high school seniors since its scholarship program began.
