KALISPELL, Mont. – The Flathead Snowmobile Association is providing a valuable opportunity for those interested in avalanche safety. The association is offering full scholarships for motorized avalanche safety training courses.
These scholarships cover the cost of any of the three motorized trainings available through the Flathead Avalanche trainings. Participants must sign up through Flathead Valley Community College’s website, complete the class, and then file for reimbursement.
The first training session is scheduled for January 4, 2025, and there are still spots available for students. This is an excellent chance for individuals to enhance their safety skills in avalanche situations.
While membership in the FSA is not required to take advantage of this offer, the association encourages individuals to consider joining. More information about the scholarships and how to apply can be found on the Flathead Snowmobile Association’s website.
